The first thing to catch your eye is the double needle stitching which is highlighted by the familiar contrasting thread color, just like traditional jeans.
Brass zipper and waist button
Our beefy brass metal zipper is made by YKK, the only name in quality jeans zippers. No scrawny plastic zipper for these outdoor jeans!
Bar tacked belt loops and rivet points
Bar tacks are heavy-duty reinforced stitches traditionally used on belt loops for jeans. We also use them on our pockets instead of metal rivets since bar tacks perform better than rivets on our stretch fabric.
Coin pocket
Some people love it, others may not use it much, but they really aren’t jeans without the little coin pocket.
For the inside front pockets, we use breathable and water repellent nylon supplex.
Exterior back pockets
Traditional jeans pockets go on the outside, not tucked away inside the pants. We also add a hidden zipper on the right back pocket. And guys, we know you don’t want fancy stitching on your back pockets so we left them plain. We also minimized the display of our logo, only putting it on the waistband at the belt line.
Jeans shape and feel
Our softshell jeans are fully designed as jeans, not just pants with a jean look or “silhouette”. Most important, we carefully selected a type of Schoeller Dryskin fabric that closely matches the structure and feel of denim. The fit is athletic standard – sits just below the waist but not too low, has a straight leg opening, and is slightly slim through the thigh to take advantage of the 4-way stretch fabric.
